Temporary footpath and cycleway closures on B1050 roundabout

Credit: Homes England. The map highlights the affected sections and where closures apply – the red (B1050 roundabout) lines show areas closed.

Sisk, on behalf of Homes England, will be carrying out essential maintenance around the footpath and cycleway and road on the B1050 roundabout to keep them safe and durable for years to come.

What’s happening?

Sections of the footpath and cycleway will be closed in phases while work is happening, and at times, there will be lane closures to give the team a safe space to operate. The road and the roundabout will remain open to vehicles.

When it’s happening

The B1050 roundabout footpath and cycleway works are planned to start on Monday 10th November. Weather and site conditions can sometimes change plans, but the aim is to complete these works prior to Christmas.

Getting around during the works

Clear diversion signs will be in place at closure points so you can plan your route, and we apologise for the inconvenience during these essential works.

Supporting walking and cycling is a key part of Northstowe’s goal to create a healthier, more active community, and we appreciate your patience while this is resolved. Thanks for bearing with us while we complete these improvements.
