The Pump Track is an exciting new place where people can ride, play, get active and have fun outdoors. It's a space for children, young people and families to meet friends, build confidence and enjoy being part of the Northstowe community.

Homes England, the master developer for phases two and three of Northstowe, is running a community design competition for children and young people aged 5 to 17 who live in Northstowe, Longstanton, or Oakington and Westwick.

The winning artwork could be featured on the final welcome sign at the Pump Track, (subject to eligibility, consent and technical checks), which will give a young resident the chance to leave a lasting mark on one of Northstowe's newest community spaces.

The winner will receive a certificate and a £50 One4All Active Favourites gift card (subject to availability) and will be recognised on Northstowe Town’s website and social media channels. The winner will be contacted and announced after the competition closes.

So get creative and show us what makes Northstowe special. We can't wait to see your ideas!

Please note: Safety signage for the Pump Track is already provided onsite. This competition is to design the welcome/name sign only, which will say “Northstowe Pump Track”.

Top tips for your design

  • Keep your design simple and easy to see from a distance
