Homes England is looking for socially responsible developers to accelerate delivery of Northstowe.
Who is building Northstowe?
Northstowe is one of the most significant new communities under construction in the UK. It is less than 10 miles from Cambridge, near the villages of Longstanton and Oakington. It is being delivered in phases and the first of these, now led by Urban and Civic, is almost complete.
Homes England, the Government’s housing and regeneration agency, is responsible for phases two and three, which have commenced.
Urban and Civic and Homes England collaborate with private sector housebuilders, contractors, other developers, and public sector bodies, such as Keepmoat Homes, Kier, and South Cambridgeshire District Council, Cambridge County Council and Northstowe Town Council, to build the homes, community buildings, facilities, roads and cycleway.
A key partner is the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care Board who provide health services to the new community.
