Design Codes will guide the creation of pleasant neighbourhoods at Northstowe. There has been two public consultations during May/June 2016 and April/May 2017 which have fed into the Phase Two Design Code for both the Homes and Town. Find out more about those here. Because a number of developers will deliver the town, there will be many different architectural styles linked by consistency in both approach and quality. Character areas taken from the unique and existing features of the landscape will add interest and variety as you walk, cycle or take the bus through the town. There could even be the opportunity in later phases of development for people to buy plots in order to build their own tailor-made homes and potentially some interesting build styles such as off-site manufactured housing.
